Gerak Wira Enterprise (GWE) presence in the market focuses on jobs involving firearms: such as inspection, maintenance and repairs, and further in the field of ammunition, pyrotechnics, weapon stores, explosive storage house (ESH), shooting ranges and controlled rock blasting. GWE also focus on Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) Detection and Explosive Ordnance Clearance/Disposal (EOD) as its services offering.
GWE is very experienced in the field of Unexploded Ordnance Detection and Explosive Ordnance Clearance and Disposal. To-date, GWE has successfully completed more than 40 UXO-related contracts within the project timeline. Our manpower comprises of retired Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) officers whom specialised in armaments (specifically in the Bomb Disposal Unit – BDU) and senior technicians trained in UXO detection techniques.
GWE operations is spearheaded by senior retired Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) officers.

Executive Chairman of Gerak Wira Enterprise
Tuan Haji Baharom, the founder of Gerak Wira group of companies, is the chairman of GWE. He retired from PDRM after serving the country for 36 years. His last appointment was as the head of armament division for Selangor which he held for 12 years.
Tuan Haji Baharom has extensive experience in the field of armament, ammunition, pyrotechnic, explosives, bomb disposal and rock blasting. He received specialise technical training locally and abroad. He is also a recognised PDRM trainer for shotfirer courses.

MUHAMMAD ZAIDON BIN PARDI

Tuan Haji Zaidon is a retired senior police officer. He was the Deputy Chief Police Officer of Johore before his retirement, holding the rank of Senior Assistant Commissioner of Polis DiRaja Malaysia (PDRM). He served for 37 years in PDRM, with 32 years in the armament division, and was the division head for 6years. He was also the Commandant of PDRM Technical College for 3 years. He has attended various specialise armament training programme locally and overseas whilst in service. He was also the head of government delegation for armament purchases predelivery inspection.
MOHAMMAD ABBAS

Tuan Haji Mohammad retired from PDRM in May 2017 after serving the country for more than 40 years. He retired as Deputy Superintendent of Police.
Tuan Mohammad has extensive experience in the field of armament, ammunition, pyrotechnic, explosives, bomb disposal and rock blasting. He had served more than 20 years in the armament division and bomb disposal unit of PDRM. He received specialise technical training locally and abroad.
SYED AKMAL

Syed Ahmad Akmal Syed Hassan is the Senior Consultant of the company.
He has more than 20 years of airport operations and consultancy experiences. He has vast experience, diversified knowledge and skills developed through years of involvement in various initiatives and projects, from initial conception to completion, from all over the world.
He is experienced in providing objective advice, expertise and specialist skills with the aim of creating value, maximising growth or improving the business performance of clients. Complementing the clients with input on best practices for strategy, structure, management and operational processes.
He was responsible for securing and delivering the consultancy services for various international airports such as Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali and Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Jakarta, Indonesia. He was also responsible for conducting the Airport Operational Readiness for KLIA, Kazan International Airport in Republic of Tatarstan, Harare International Airport in Zimbabwe, Ataturk International Airport in Turkey and Incheon International Airport, South Korea.

Tuan Haji Syed Hussain started his career with Bank Bumiputra Malaysia Berhad upon graduation. He then pursue training on merchant banking for 3 years, followed by a career as merchant banker based in Hong Kong. He returns to Malaysia in 1996 after accepting an offer to lead a wholly owned subsidiary of Renong Berhad. In 2000, he was appointed as the Chief Operating Officer of a wholly owned subsidiary of KUB Bhd overseeing the A&W Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. Later part of his career, sees him holding strategic positions with subsidiary of DRB Hicom Berhad and SEGI Holdings.

Noorlaily have been with GWE since 2003. Laily oversee the adminstrative matters of GWE. She ensures that there is effective information flow and that resources are employed efficiently. Laily is very organised and detail-orientated with good analytical skills.
NOORAINI BAHAROM
Manager, Accounting
Nooraini joined GWE in 2010. Aini developed and implement systems for collection, verifying and reporting information. Aini responsibilities include preparing budgets, financial strategy, financial reporting, and forecasting.
